Toy Story

Rex, a central character in Disney Pixar's Toy Story franchise, first appeared in the original Toy Story film (1995). He is a toy Tyrannosaurus Rex, despite his inherent dinosaur nature, Rex is portrayed as a timid, anxious, and insecure character.

Rex's greatest fear is that he's not scary enough, often lamenting his inability to roar effectively or frighten anyone. This fear is a constant source of internal conflict, contrasting sharply with the imposing image of a T-Rex. He deeply desires to be brave and contribute to the group's efforts.

Throughout the Toy Story films and shorts, Rex demonstrates loyalty and a strong desire to help his friends. While his anxiety frequently gets the better of him, he often finds unexpected moments of courage, proving that even the most fearful dinosaur can overcome their insecurities.
